My Time In The Stars Poem by Claudio Smith

My Time In The Stars

I am without reason
I am without cause
the blood of my father
is the blood of my world

MY sins are committed
sight pours to the dead
the words that are spoken
are lies in my head

the people who are living are actually dead
Man climbs the mountain
that's why the fountain is dead

Perhaps man is blind for the mountain is sin
The fountain is life beyond anything
to cease to exist we often recall a mistake
if destiny is destroyed then why would we wait

If the time was right then
then the time is right now
I look in the future
but I do not know how
All I know is that we all seek the truth
as we wander alone
we either all wrong
or someone's right alone

The supposed bittersweet moment that you were wrong
will mean nothing when everything's gone
Please don't let your quest lead you to despair
For you will only know the truth wants you are there
