My Tree

I have a tree
A green green tree
To shade me from the sun
And under it I often sit
When all my work is done.
The tree has long and wide spread roots
And it has tasty colorful fruits
I often go and hug my tree
When Iam happy, sad, wild or spree

Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
