My True Love Poem by AJJ AJJ

my heart belongs to some one that I chose my
heart is open to the one person and she knows
who she is
my heart is taken by one woman and she has it
at all times
my life and love is only open to this woman yet
it seems taken away from me

she is the one thing that has made me whole like
a basic simple whole number
she is my better half the one that makes me move
every day as though she is with me 24/7 she is the
one that grounds as though she is my roots in the ground

she is my rose and the reason why my blood flows
like the red rose of life the moons of tomorrow shall
not stop me from loving her

she is the one lady I dance with every day and night
she is my true half and I am empty with out her
she is my essence to life like the sweet smell of pure
love
she is my light in the bleak of nights and my darkness
to the brightness of life
she is my guiding point to her as though she is my compass
pointing not north but to her

my eyes are open to her and closed to others like shutters
my heart is surrounded by barriers and she is with me dancing
with not slow or fast but with the beat of our hearts like drums
beating rhythmically to the sound or love
