I broke a promise
I made to myself,

I vowed not to love you
But now it's inevitable,

It took a second to drown in your eyes
It took an eternity for you to realize,

Mistakes occur once in a while
But never are they this vile,

The minute you fell in love with her
My world became cold and murky,

I turned into a selfish monster
And I don't regret this,

I made another promise to myself
Which I will never break again,

I will love you from afar
And my heart's door will be left ajar.
