My Voice Soars Poem by Muhammad Shanazar

My Voice Soars

I am still sitting at the same spot,
Where you unburdened tedium
Of tiresome centuries.
I sit there engrossed,
I yearn to step ahead,
But my feet are as heavy as stone,
My voice certainly soars,
But amid the flock of birds.
