My Wife Poem by Leo Thomas Proctor

My Wife

Today, as I am seated in my chair
Thoughts of my wife, so beautiful and fair
One with a personality so excellently bright
A God given blessing, He brought into my sight
A rejoicing love and care she gives me every day.
Making my life so wonderful in every way.
Two perfect loves, a union which will never close;
That only God with infinite power can dispose
She is an angel every person wants to greet
Whether at the end of work or play I'll meet
A lady smart, beautiful so wonderful for all to see
More like a turtledove or a rose she'll be
With all the ardent shades of love,
That God gives me from up above
Oh! my precious wonderful wife
Thank you for giving me life.
