My Year

Coming in completely unknown
Never wanting to be alone
Only wishing to be shown
That i have truley grown

Hearing lies from all the rest
I did what i thought was best
Just going on my own quest
But not ready to detest

I tried my best to run from all the pain
But it's a part that will always remain
Revealing my secrets through this pen
Never wanting to show who i really am

Trusting only in a few
But my feelings only grew
Not truley knowing what was true
I went through it all without a clue

Never wanting to ever bleed
Only having this never ending need
To be strong and plead
That one day i shall be freed

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
