She sits there like an angel
Leans her head against her hand
And as her golden locks of soft frayed hair
Drop down like young dry sand
She catches what my glance is to her
Turn away so she won’t see
She seems to peer into my eyes
She sees into my heart’s what she’ll be
Songs of cellos beauty music
Swarm right through my head just as I
Melt she presses her lips together
My eyes dropp down I start to cry
For all I’ve seen, why should I believe
That anyone could fall in love with me
How could I let her in just to be broken again
If she sought my love as well, I guess I’ll just wait and see
I try to comprehend just what it is
That puts these planes inside me
To soar into a cloudy unknown bliss
Two souls in synchronicity
Her flesh a safeguard to her inner
Makeup like a pale blue sky
So innocent to gaze into it
Wonder what might be on the other side
Love is so much more than you can
Perceive on the surface of a page
The writing’s small and fragile
By candle light I read sweet smell of sage
And now as all contemporary
Windows to the wound conveying art
Her picture like a brand within me
I nailed a photograph to my heart
…And till death do we part
This is sooo sweet...so descriptive...so passionate..so elegant..i like this poem..how you describe her...it brings me back..i can relate to this as well..thinking that that one person would fall in love with you and when..it happens..it changes how you see things...the heart is a fragile thing at that..and the more vulnerable you are...the more you let in...wonderful...just powerful words...they speak..keep writing^^
