Name-Drop For The Immortals

You can do worse than spend time
working out for yourself and the French
a French term for 'name-drop'.

Name is nom.
Doigt de vin is a drop of wine,
a finger of it.
Name-finger, I think not.

Elle défile de grands airs,
she walks in file the big-noters,
she parades them, she scrolls them.
