Treasure Island

Desmond Blaine

(25.10.1989. / Dubrovnik)

nameless I

i walked thru the city one day
i remember
the rain was falling
over me
and cars
and people
and streets
and cats

and i kept walking
until i found this kid
staring
at nothing it seemed
and his eyes were
full
of tears
or rain
i couldn't tell

i asked him
what was wrong
but he disappeared
and i took another sip
of my
terrible
cheap
vodka

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
