Nameless I - Poem by Desmond Blaine

i walked thru the city one day
i remember
the rain was falling
over me
and cars
and people
and streets
and cats

and i kept walking
until i found this kid
staring
at nothing it seemed
and his eyes were
full
of tears
or rain
i couldn't tell

i asked him
what was wrong
but he disappeared
and i took another sip
of my
terrible
cheap
vodka
