Nameless Mister Poem by i am not crazy

Nameless Mister

Rating: 5.0

Words suddenly start to amass in my mouth
But barricaded by some mysterious hindrance
They give up and now they refuse
It’s too late; another abandoned chance

We try to make up for what’s gone
But how can we lose anything
If there was nothing to start with
Just me, imagining

You have the world in your hands
While I strive to at least be a part of it
Time is against us and I’m battling for hope
A shared glance, shared breath and love once lit

This amazing dream, this amusing fantasy
Can bring me to tears, but I have cried louder before
Can leave me broken; my eyes swollen
Maybe I’m in too much pain that I can’t cry anymore

Goodbyes won’t work; there’s no such thing
This love’s a curse and it forever holds me
In diamond chains and golden locks
Though embraced by agony, I don’t want to be free

My emotions overflow as I try to make you hear
My heart singing broken ballads only you could fix
Show you feigned smiles only you can turn real
Tell you once and for all you’re all it seeks

Too long I have lived a surreal life
And too long it’s kept me waiting
Too long I have searched for the one true man
Yet love still has me dreaming

Amidst the sky, its blue and its twinkle
The one who grants is fast running
Vanishing, fading away with my wishes ignored
Love, without your touch, this poem will have no ending
