Namely You Poem by Kyle Jones

Namely You

Rating: 5.0

I check you out, seeing inside you, I see a big disaster
Nightfall, or your fall, which one will come faster?

I dedicate this poem to the fact that it's hard for you to keep,
A billion heartbeats around the clock allowing you to sleep

And it doesn't help you're freezing, and blankets aren't enough
All you want is some one there, all you say you need is love

You're going to make me throw up, that's not a lie
I wish you'd just stop putting out for every single guy

I dedicate this poem to anything and everyone
It's hard enough trying to live another weekend all alone

I see you like to fall in love with people you'll probably never meet
You think it's easier than breaking up and dying in the street?

Do you curse all the newlyweds? Do you lie and wish them well?
I guess to safe to sadly say, you really wish them all to hell

Can't you escape this fatal case of sorrow?
It's only in your head... and every heart you steal or borrow

And there are days you say you can't go on
But we know you've felt this way all along

I dedicate this poem to those we never knew
The lost and cowardly... namely you
