Nancy Poem by Ansha Truter

Nancy

She is alot like you
She told you to go, and you never came back
The All-Wise knows why this happened

But she struggled. I could just sit there and watch her struggle.

She told me that it hurts
'...it hurts... No love'
She also told me that she is alone.

You see, her father?
He left her. A l o n g t i m e a g o.
Unworthy, yes that is why
She was told she was unworthy.

'I have a feeling that I will have a daughter too, oneday'
She once said whilst we sat in the park
'But she will not be like us', she continued.
'She will know love. She will be loved.'
She was convinced, I listened

'She will know her Creator.... better.'
