Nature On Earth And Beyond! Poem by Denis Martindale

Nature On Earth And Beyond!

God's first-made creatures stayed unseen
By many living things,
Though coloured red or blue or green
And even those with wings.

Beneath the waves where darkness reigns,
Beneath the sailing boats,
Within God's kingdoms and domains
Each creature swims or floats.

Above the mountains and the hills,
Are birds that glide or fly,
Where even more life overspills,
As days and nights pass by.

What of the moon that shines above?
Men talked and walked there, too,
The world itself was not enough,
Men saw their challenge through.

What of the planets and the stars,
Will Man find life beyond?
Perhaps on Jupiter or Mars,
In some blessed stream or pond.

Yet Man himself will not stop there!
The Cosmos still awaits!
With wonders far beyond compare
With all that God creates!
