Nature's Canvas Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Nature's Canvas

Rating: 2.5

I've always gazed at the wonderful sky,
and cherished the nature's art on its canvas,
It's so colorful that even makes the colors so shy.
I am amazed by that eternal canvas,
on which the nature paints.

Always changing and taking new forms as we see,
Makes it hard for all to perceive,
for it's not one thing that this canvas gives,
everchanging beauty that no one can kiss.

The clouds in it's many forms and shapes,
Keeps us so excited that we give them a name.
It's not static but can come again,
blown by the winds that give it a shape.

It's changing colors mean it's changing mood,
Even in it's saddest moment, it looks so good.
Like a picture it's so silent,
Yet talks to us in the lauguage of sound,
followed by a lightning which seldom touches the ground.

At night, the sky is a romantic place,
the twinkling stars as we gaze,
the stars form a shape with a collective endeavor,
it is told to control our behavior.
many poems are composed on the lovely moon,
with joy in us, we often do swoon.

My thoughts do fly into the deep blue sky,
so much of peace, it's to my mind.
it's vast strech over our land,
It bends to make the eluding horizon.
And the beauty of that eternal art,
from the nature's canvas comes down very close our heart.
