Natures Plea Poem by Michael Bisson

Natures Plea

Ohh how the wind scrapped for its life,
Twoing and throwing, barging it's way threw the night.
Sheets of slate slide, crack and crumble.
Branches screech and scream and then tumble.
Roots grip, grasp like a new born child to its mother.
Seas and cars crash, collide, one wave after another.

These are natures rules, you must abide.
Natures way of saying.
You humans tow the line.

Fences and walls
collapse like a corpse,
Buried in rubble
Your lost in your thoughts

Do you hear natures calling
Do you hear natures plea
Do you care for your young loved ones
Or are you fuelled by your needs.

Bridges and piers
thrust and sway
Till swallowed by oceans
That warned to obey

Natures decision has finally been made,
The final throw of the dice was ultimately played.
Due to humans consumption outwayed all,
This is the moment, this is the fall.
