Near The Doorway Of Your Mind
There are times when the heart wants to linger,
near the doorway of your mind,
looking at the travels and the sorrows,
that you have left so far behind.
It lingers for a little while,
remembering all the pain,
and then it catches a glimpse,
of the good times,
that rolled along their way,
before happiness was seduced by pain,
and finally lead astray.
