Nearly Over Poem by Emily TromansCarter

Nearly Over

My life is full of hate and pain,
Can anybody keep me sane?
I'm feeling sad and want to go home
But these feelings remind me that I am alone

The deafening sound of my friends screams,
This isn't always in my dreams.
Something well known, something called tears,
I need to breath and face my fears.

My pounding heart beats me to the floor,
Will someone save me from my own war?
Actually don't because before I die,
I just want to say one last goodbye.

One last nail for my black door,
One last breath so I can roar,
So quickly now before I die,
I just want to say one last goodbye.
