Nemesis Poem by Sru Wils

Nemesis

I shunned your thoughts,
As they prick me like thorns.
And as we parted ways,
That epoch of my life,
Haunted me like the dead...

Fangs of your fiery love,
Is stinging my eyes!
Can't you see my heart swathed?
In the red roses that you once gifted!
Now there is no respite for my soul...

Shadows of the past,
Dance in front of my eyes.
And the ghosts of memories,
Flash through my mind.
Let me pass their cries unheeded...

Your sinister glance,
Have whirled my world!
Still I can't flee from you,
As the broken pieces of me covet you!
Are you my nemesis or unrequited love?
