Nephesh Chayyah Poem by Keith Muller

Nephesh Chayyah

Opening the door to a empty hollow space
I feel a void that your soul had once graced
Once there was a bond, so deep, pure and kind
The love of a animal that left this world behind

Though in flesh you are gone, in spirit still here
My confidant, my guardian, my comfort in fear
The heavens have gained an angel so bold
In sadness and in grief, our memories I hold

Your start was uncertain, from rescue you came
Maternal bond, the love was my biggest gain
As your light now ascend to an majestical place
Farewell Ben, go in peace, go in Gods Grace
