Never Ends Poem by Jesse Tampa

Never Ends

Like a wild beast inside me that eats away inside
My feelings aren’t hidden; there is no place to hide
The world was overtaking and running me dry
I couldn’t even find the strength to look in my own eyes

I tell myself that it’s a dream and it is all a lie
But when I wake up from death I am not the same guy
Things change within’ me to cause a spin
Earth’s spinning wildly saying, “I can’t win”

Somehow I wake up and remember my first rule
I get up and live like I’m not a fool
It’s strange to be back here once again
Only to leave once more because it never ends
