You came into my life,

like cupids arrow shot straight into my heart.

But loving you,

is the hardest thing to do.

I cried a river if you only knew,

tears that leave a trace

that even time could not be erase.

Like the rain that floods the trail,

I still hold on,

though you no longer feel the same.

You told me we'll be forever,

and you will leave me never.

but everything had changed,

and you left without a trace.
