Never Forget Poem by Antoinette Forrester

Never Forget

Rating: 5.0

Never forget
The days of thy youth.
Never forget
The time of thy manhood.
These are the footprints of a life complete.

Never forget
The mistakes of thy hands.
Never forget
The remedial stands.
These are the teachers of wisdom indeed.

Never forget
The days of thy sorrow.
Never forget
The days of thy mirth.
These are the lingering emblems of humanity.

Never forget
The rising of the sun.
Never forget
The rain and the storms.
These our memories tell a story,
A treasure, touched only by the passage of time.

Piece of great elegance, beautifully articulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. Lovely poem on philosophy and life bristling with wisdom. Thanks for sharing Antoinette. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

These things are not just a good idea, but a responsibility. Why should it take some religious belief to be nice? Niceness is its own reward. Thanks, Antoinette
