Never Got To Say Good Bye Poem by La'neka Kelly

Never Got To Say Good Bye

Rating: 4.5

Never got to say good-bye, but got to say good-night,
Lasted 66 years but too weak to put it another fight.
Getting called home while sound asleep,
Too good, and Holy also so sweet.
Loved by many yet hated by none,
You had a rock star life, loved by your loved ones.
While doing God's well and praising his name,
Keeping the family together so it wouldn't go down in flames.
But now that your gone life wont be easy,
But as Calvin said we'll keep it breezy.
Me being alone without my best friend,
No grandmother no guidance, just my kin.
But since your its you and you were an awesome granny,
I want you to know there will be no other nanny.
To see you laying in your casket all I could do was cry,
To be asleep while you were dying that was so un fly.
But trying not to cry since your no longer here,
Sincerely Shakima L. Kelly your granddaughter your love one so near!
