Never Had The Chance Poem by Katrina Lusk

Never Had The Chance

I never had the chance to say "I love you"
or to tell you how much I care.
I never got the chance to speak to you
and promise that I would always be there.

I wish I had a chance to hold you
but you were taken from us too soon.
You were never given a chance at life,
for your joy to brighten up every room.

I'd like to think you are playing with angels,
jumping from cloud to cloud.
Letting everyone know how happy you are
laughing and joking out loud.

I look forward to seeing you on the other side
and you can introduce me to your angelic friends.
I could never get tired of seeing you play
as my smiles would never end.

I want you to know this Remi Lynn
I would loved you more than any other.
I am so sorry that fate never gave me a chance
to be your proud and adoring mother.
