I thought you were everything I wanted
Until you kept coming back and forth in my life
You said all the right things
But never lived up to the things you said

You should have stuck a daggar in my heart
You should have just told me to go away
But you never did
You only walked away without saying goodbye

Next thing I know you have someone else
Should have known I was only your rebound
The tears I cried I regret them
I don't know why I wasted them on you

One thing I know no more tears will fall for you
There's not a day that I don't miss you
But I know that you were never meant to be mine
I'm slowly getting over you
But I wished you would have been man enough

To tell me you didn't want me in your life
I should have never fallen for you
I should have known that you were never meant to be mine
Could have sworn you were meant for me

But now I'm glad that I know you were never meant to be mine
I still have a heartache but I know I'll be alright without you
I don't need you especially cause I know you don't need me

I don't know why I thought you were everything I wanted
So here I am just trying to forget everything about you
Trying to erase you from my heart and soul
