Never say never
for no one knows
what lies around the corner
of our lives.

We may watch dreams disappear,
but who is to say
they will not flourish again someday,
so never say never.

Love may elude us
through our younger years,
but who is to say that it will not
capture us in the years to come.

Never say never to anything
for life has a way
of reversing our decisions,
as everyone will agree.

That saying never is forever,
however life doesn’t see it that way.
Never could mean tomorrow
or even that day after that.
