Never Wait (The Destruction Of The Wicked)

Rating: 5.0

Fear has overtaken me, my mind trapped in penitentiary.
Looking for escape, the evil eyes staring back at me.
Walls closing shut, I'm trapped within, it's under my skin.
The lights turn to grey, it starts getting darker I try to pray.
Lord please don't leave, I'll try harder next time to believe.
That you're the only one that you sent your only son.
Trapped in this darkness, surrounded by the heartless.
This fire burning inside and out, I scream and I shout.
Why didn't I agree with them? Now I'm trapped in the sea.
I'm splashing and gnashing, my body burning and flashing.
I had it all in the world I didn't expect to miss my time.
The pain unbelievable, no escape, nowhere to climb.
Eternal torment is what they said, cutting of the thread.
Appointed to die, now I'll never know what it's like to fly.
How is it fair? He knew this would happen, eternally aware.
I have forever to think about it, trapped in this pit of torment.
I have an eternity to weep; never again a precious sleep.
