It’s snowing
Crystals of ivory lace
Descending drifting
Shifting into destiny’s place

Beauty of white
Breathless in sight
Quite beyond silence
Leaving its magical essence

No whispers of wind
No path to follow
Only virgin snow
Seen through my window

Taken in the chill’s scent
No lingering resentments
Daze into time’s memory
Of you here with me
