Never You Always Me Poem by Ben Ballard

Never You Always Me

Every feeling has an equal standing
They were once so well put together
You are such a cruel place
The invitation was not in thoughtful manner
Who are you to pick and prod
Time blended you in me
Misunderstanding there was never a time
Where you were deemed ownership
The effects of nothing are far better
Than the effects of everything

I never threw you
It is all very simple
You were never here.........

Figuring this is what was always wanted
From all this has become just another
Blurry but attainable void
No longer fearing your reappearance
Ever waiting for you to be just another body
I love everything inside of you
Never was able to see around your life
Seemed endless seemed pointless
But eventual comprehension of a new angle
This piece of this puzzle does not make the picture
It is held together by my gain
Not by my stitches.....

I never threw you
It is all very simple now
You were always here......
