New Age Poem by Daisy Pereira

New Age

Rating: 3.5

Tell me this dear friend
when you go back to the world
where people and dreams alike
washed, spread, dried
pressed and ironed well

no little creases shown
no worries expressed
everything kept exceptionally well
meticulously in order
that spills out of way
even not tears,

I wont tear you
with letters or words,

like water or darkness move away
or spread forget fullness,

echoing light
dawn on the horizon

new days new times
new lives and new years

I herald a new age
where serpents love hawks!

I herald a new age where serpents love hawks! purtroppo la Natura è selvaggia e i falchi e i serpenti non saranno mai amanti.. :) Ma certo la Poesia sa superare ogni ostacolo e traduce sogni, desideri, passioni, .. in immagini evocatrici di Universi nuovi. Diversi dal nostro. Unfortunately Nature is wild and hawks and snakes will never be lovers.. But certainly Poetry can overcome every obstacle and translates dreams, desires, passions, .. in images that evokes even a new, different Universe.. Furthermore, Poetry is such a powerful tool... Violence can kill, but Words are stronger. Thus, Ideals/Values are the final winner, because they can speak directly to hearts & minds and, touching them deeply, they can profoundly change a human being... Even the whole Humankind.. (hopefully..) thanks for sharing, Daisy
