Is light the absence of darkness; or is darkness the absence of light?
Is your will, your fortune; or is your fortune your will's insight?
Are you enclosed by the engraved mindset that limits your grip on your desires?
Turn the page and write the first chapter, for its just your efforts that are required

Your eyes are always blind to what your heart doesn't want to see,
Write a chapter that defines the very core of your every need,
You're the actor, you're the script, and you're the setting of this play,
Your life is a blank page and you're the author so write away

Start this chapter with a prayer, and the next one with some pride,
Turn your tears into a fairytale; write your good times in your mind,
Replace the negative chapters but keep them safe for they drive you through,
Print your goals in the sky and take everyday like its new

Write some love, write some faith, write some trust and write some truth,
Write your feelings on a pedestal for there is no need to hide sooth,
Turn the page and feel the blank space let your ambitions be the pen,
Let success be the story that you write in chapter ten,

It's for you to make the ending of this story your daily quest,
You're the author of what they say on the day you're laid to rest,
So I vow to enclose a chapter of hard work within myself,
And end the story with dignity and integrity as my wealth....
