New Day
New day, beautiful and bright;
I shall not take fright.
With calm joy I step
into your light.
Bring forth good;
bring forth ill;
I'm more comfortable in His will;
the day's journey understood.
With power imbued,
yet cloaked, and in disguise,
I venture to enjoy
and with Your grace surprise.
