New Start Poem by Amanda Parmentier

secluded from all surroundings..
a single dandelion in a meadow of lush grass.
in the distance, blowing in the slight cool breeze,
i see one other.

he is a pretty flower
she is oblivious to any other vegitation.
then things go horrible wrong and she lost her entire life
not knowing how to carry on
she doesn't give up
she searched for the light. held on and grew stronger.
she saw other flowers and plants begin to bloom
her life started over.
better
fresh
a clean slate.

she waited and eventually came, her new start.
