Night Poem by Maryan Santana

Night

Rating: 5.0

You crawl through the night
And lay low through the morning
Staying in the shadows of the day
Afraid of what would happen if you stepped out
Being exposed for what you really are
Coming out when no ones around
Being who you really are
Even though what you are
Isn’t any thing bad

Beautiful poem on self-afflicted fears and a state of alienation. 10/10 for this small wonder, Maryan. Best Wishes Naseer
