Night Flight Poem by Mervyn Graham

Night Flight

Rating: 5.0

In dreams, I soar on wings unseen,
A flight of freedom, pure and keen.
Above the world, I break my chains,
In skies where boundless freedom reigns.

Empowered by the winds of fate,
Confidence now my steady mate.
With every beat, I rise anew,
Believing skies are mine to view.

Escaping burdens, stress, and care,
Through starry realms, I freely dare.
My wings unfurl, my spirit light,
In dreams, I conquer my darkest night.

A transcendent journey, soaring high,
Where earthly worries softly sigh.
Connected to a realm divine,
Where endless possibilities shine.

Beneath the stars, my dreams take flight,
Reflecting hidden desires bright.
Adventure calls, aspirations gleam,
In soaring through my endless dream.

Then suddenly in the heavens, shadows creep,
Anxiety, worries, and insecurity seep.
Uncertain winds may start to blow,
In dreams where fears begin to grow.

But in lucid realms, I find my sway,
Freedom from limitations' sway.
Awareness blooms, control is mine,
In dreams where boundaries intertwine.

So let me fly on wings of dream,
In skies where hope and visions gleam.
For in the realm where dreams take flight,
I find the courage to face the night.
