Night's Gift Poem by Isabella Night

Night's Gift

Rating: 3.5

I recall that chilled Saturday night.
The freezing pavement underneath us.
Our close bodies contained a source of heat.
Making us forget the temperature.
The tension rising...
Increased amounts of adrenaline...
Minds oh so light headed...
Our bodies, dangerously weak...
Yearning so desperately for one another.
Then, that first kiss.
Our hot breath joining the freezing wind.
Creating clouds of passion above us.
As the minutes passed, so did life.
Our minds, completely lost...
So unaware of the world...
Wishing this night would never end.
