Night Sky

Living in stormy Night sky's
Never escaping the rain
everyday the same shade of gray
Silent angels crashed through the sky
I have lost sight of the stars
hopeless for a glimpse of sun-shine

Despite all the darkness
A rainbow arched across the sky
in search of my pot of gold i slid over the rainbow
There you sat
A look into your eyes reminded me of the stars
that used to shine over my head
Your sweet smile mimicked the sun's warm light

Captivated by your beauty helped me realize that
this was evidence that rainbows arrive after a storm
My grey skies turned into blue
The night finally fell

For this i Thank you
for being the sun-shine
that brightens my day

I AM not One who much or oft delight
To season my fireside with personal talk.--
Of friends, who live within an easy walk,
Or neighbours, daily, weekly, in my sight:
