Night Sky Poem by Phil Soar

I look into the night sky
Searching for the moons and stars of Galaxies
Far away and lost in the Universe
So immense I cannot understand
And yet I want to touch the very life that might encompass it
So I look up
Moving my eyes across an expanse of nothing
But so beautiful I wish it belonged to me
and yet it does
Belong to me
In my mind
It so envelops me that I freeze
Yet I am not cold
Just lost
In the wonder of the Universe
