Nightmare Poem by Anony Mous

Slip off your socks and slide into bed.
Think a bit and delve inside your head.
Relax your eyes and take a deep breath,
For soon you will be running from death.
Senses lose touch with the outside world,
And to another realm you are hurled.
In the shadows you see a dark man,
Running towards you as fast as he can.
Panic sets in as he chases you,
But it all seems too weird to be true.
Quickly you think to open your eyes,
Just in time to escape your demise.
