Nighty Night
Ever hear
The bump in the night?
The one that scares
You with fright?
The one that says
Go nighty night
And you won’t wake
You’ll be dead tonight
You see eyes
Staring you down
As you lay
In your night gown
They glow red
In evil glare
The eyes that say
Don’t move a hair
Closer now
They are coming
You think
About running
You can’t move
You’re in a trance
No you panic
You don’t have a chance
Now it’s here
You see its grin
The smile that says
I’ll kill you from within
Slowly choking
You have no air
You cry
As you watch its glare
It waves goodbye
As you die
Go nighty night
No need for goodbye
