No Escape
It is amazing how a piece of music
can warp time and space
and take you to a place
that you wanted to escape.
Bringing back memories
to the forefront of your mind
The love, the ecstasy
The hurt, the pain
Making you feel them
all over again.
Music was supposed to
be a soothing balm
To keep you calm
But a raging storm
it can be at times
Wrecking havoc in your mind.
