Never Understood Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

Never Understood

Rating: 5.0

People and places made her nervous
Always staring at her awkwardness
Stricken with her dull pallid exterior
Refusing to believe that her heart
May be full of beautiful colours
So she poured her heart on paper
Covered it in lovely myriad images
Still the world couldn't understand
They called it 'art' instead.

Always staring at her awkwardness Yes your heart it full of colours, it is true we dont believe in ourselves, our beauty, our abilities, so pour your heart on paper and write and write and become a great poetess. liked ur poem very much. tony

Sounds like a geode - you know those amazing crystals that look ordinary on the outside? Beautiful poem. Is it you?

What lovely imagination comparing an artist to a geode. No it's not me. I wrote this based upon a character I read in a book.
