No Longer Poem by Tenzing Palyon

No Longer

Rating: 5.0

No longer did you feel the root of my heart,
that you broke the petals of my emotions.
On the annual second quarter, your arrival
do I always stretch my leaves like hand in wanting.
You inked my heart with thy voice
to which my heart reports joyfully to my eyes presenting,
a sketch always mended with improving features.
Yes, Like a soulful angel did you lead;
My priceless present among'st all living breed.
No longer did I see you in being,
that you lost like mist upon my amorous field,
like a bee did I entreat, like a locust did I retreat,
from your heart, a pitcher plant
-stood adamant, not wanting its lids to ease
Had I seen a dew of love, would have I trapped myself for quenching.
But it stood dry, readied to be filled with thy repenting joyful tears,
from you alone and not from any immortal angel crying for years.
I cry not(Knot) , I weep not(knot) and do not fall prey to the weak side of my passions,
for your laughs crumples my love-dry heart,
with a crisp echoing sound like the dried leaves of autumn
And among my field grew a deceitful adder,
who stabbed me hard with the friendly dagger.
With unworthy display, burning affections,
to them, do I, with my words tribute,
'Feel guilty if thou can correct, else consider it as one of your attribute'.
Days snailed from good to better,
better until Best days commanded further.
The roots look firm and again its petal love-lorn
The solitary plant is again reborn.
