No Longer A Christian Nation? Poem by Jason Dixon

No Longer A Christian Nation?

Rating: 5.0

Shame on us to ask God
To come and heal our land!
And when he tries to help
We just slap his hand!
You set in church and say
We should stand for things that really matter.
But then you turn and vote
For a man that promises to make your
Wallet fatter!
We used to fight for our Father
Now we fight to keep him out
Instead of standing up for God
You would rather set in church and shout! !
So you say that your a Christian
And you are Gods creation
And yet you'll stick a man in office
Who says we're not a Christian nation.
So as you cry out for your country
And you pray unto your Lord
Wipe your tears you sell outs
For you have gotten your reward! ! !

I enjoyed this because we built the United States on the foundations of Jesus and you are saying we have people who turn from those principals to fill our wallets and your right. God has always had his children stand and fight and if we have to, just to protect our freedom than so be it, not that we wouldn't rather just love- but sitting back loving others will never change anything. Wars are always over spiritual things, we have a spiritual world even though noone wants to admit that. We have God and his son Jesus Christ which is good spiritual or the other which is evil spiritual, as long as we are on this earth it will be evil for satan rules this world but God will rule the next. The Middle east rejected Christ but there will come a day when they will accept him.

What do you mean by Christian Nation? Jesus of Nazareth was born in Middle East, but they do not consider themselves as the followers of their home grown prophet, but the people from Europe have taken him to their hearts and spread the message of violence all over the world. The teachings of Jesus are great, but the followers spread war, mistrust, selfishness and many more negative things all over the world, instead of passing the message of love. so bad!
