They did not mind his foolishness,
But loved the way, he did all things;
He was their leader, and he was

No matter whatever went wrong;
All that he did was just command
And they obeyed him to the word,

And never bothered to query,
Or wonder if the risks were high,
For he was great before their eyes,

And would remain always for life,
Their undisputed leader one -
Like pied Piper, they followed him!
