No More Tears Poem by Chase Goody

Some think that im cold hearted
but that is not the case,
I see the reality of the world
Things you cant erase

I see the homeless people
who have to beg for food,
Every now and then, you'll find someone nice
but most are just plain rude

I've seen the poor hanicapped
I've seen the single mothers
I've seen the ones who have been abused
and the cheating lovers

I've seen the hate this world can bring
and im so tired of crying
I've seen the ones whove been mistreated
and the ones who are dying

Your showing that they have no dignity
when you start to weep
So hold back for THEM
and pride is what they'll keep

I beleive crying is a weakness
and hang my head in shame
One should never cry
just because of pain

So I raise my head and think to myself
I'ts a brand new day
I bring my hand to my face
and wipe my last tear away

Sometimes you may see them water
othertimes, not at all
I may get sad and want to cry
But I will never let another tear fall
