No Name Poem by Gabriel Rodriguez

No Name

One so bright such as you, a beauty, in name
Such a title would only serve to belittle, the elegance and grace
With which you carry yourself along newer roads and paths, not yet taken
Yet it's taken a toll on you, it's hurting you
With a single tear dropp crashing against grain that splatters the surrounding areas with your beautiful pain,
The suffering of light, that others worked to maim and poison with their vain attempts,
At flattery, when all you want is someone to know the brain behind the name, and the true beauty made, from God
To love from conquerors and slaves held in your cranium, your ancestry in your veins,
The Angels fly all day,
the demons in tall craze,
form into all shapes, held by your strong gaze, perfectly imperfect,
I feel the same way, woman of no name

A young female lost in her past, attempting to hop back along, the narrow path
This path of the no name, wanting to make a name instead of being a generalized statistic of shame,
She is light, she is darkness
She is the power no man can harness,
Men all fall by the wayside, nowadays, once she loved, but it was a trap, a trickery, a tragic play
So she returns to her old ways, this woman of no name, crying as all is seen is her physical gifts, weighing her down every time she lifts
Rain falls at once, with her beck and call, molesting her sun kissed skin, rain of men, washing sin with sin
Then as the moon looked to the sun for light, she looked at her child for might, he is motivation,
Her salvation comes from the repudiation of men, as all is now forsaken she forgets the narrow path and broadens her horizons,
While the twilight of the times shine in her eyes, she notices the eyes of another,
A man whose felt the equal pains, the losses and gains, that come from love lost when lust sings
As these eyes stare together, they make a new bond, she decides to make another narrow path
One filled with love, songs, and her beautiful son
A child given to the world as this man holds her hand and ask for nothing more, but her brain, behind her name, and for permission to return her to the start, to tape and bandage her broken heart, and when it rains, he dries her eyes, he transforms the darkness into light,
Light that is at the heart of the sun, they come together and grow as one, no name has come to be titled as the one above, no name is required, because the feeling is enough, engulfing them,
All consuming, jointing union,
His blood of her blood,
Her love made from his love.

Not love of the eyes when rolled back in her mind
Not love of the hair when it's drenched in sweat
Not love of her tongue that he felt each time
Not love of the temple in between her spread legs
This love is made of the bread
Love made of the wine,
Love made of his sacrifice,
Love made of God,
Love made of love,
made of love,
made of love,
made of love,
made of love.

A love made out of destiny,
A love that makes Jesus weep,
A love that corrects uncertainty,
A love that comes from lovely, love.

From her heart and her mind
From his soul and his eyes
The narrow path, is so wide
So beautiful this time, with child at their side, they live and worship at the temple of 'one life', our life.

Her life, his life
Your life, my life.
Divine, divine, divine.
Now named, all time.
