Swirling
Twirling
Falling peacefully down
The snow covers the darkness of the land
It hides the blemishes and scars
That we have placed upon it
Us who call ourselves civilized
We may have started like the snow
Pure and white
So perfect and right
But just as the snow darkens
With every step taken
Our own innocence and purity
Disappears
