No-One To See Poem by Phil Soar

No-One To See

Rating: 5.0

And though there was no-one, nobody to see,
A voice from my past played a trick on me
I heard the sound of someone who had gone
Singing a line from our favourite song
A cry in the distance, the sweetness of rhyme
Reminding me of such a wonderful time

Phil, I enjoyed your poem and it brought back pleasant memories of family life, soooo long ago. Thank you.
